Against the wind, I go
A stranger in no man's land
Watching from afar, uninvited
Truth at the door, an ancient good

Yes, I've been here before
But saw everything
From a distance and left
Not knowing where to
In relentless search
Days in the desert
Flowing in circles

Now that I've grown
I've lowered my gaze
My face has aged
It was You, Jesus, the salvation
Unnoticed, but always there

Today I see You by my side

We walk together, slowly

Amidst the storms, I found You
